UCLA Bruins Earn Academic All-District Honors in Multiple Sports

The UCLA Bruins have earned a prestigious honor, with nine student-athletes recognized as Academic All-District honorees by College Sports Communicators. The honorees include Maggie Boyd, Sally Perez, Riley Jenkins, Mika Webster-Longin, Kaija Frassrand, Emma Lineback, Sean Kelly, Chase Dodd, and Noah Rowe, who excelled in volleyball, water polo, rowing, and gymnastics. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least sophomores with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Boyd, a senior psychology major, led the beach volleyball team to a third NCAA championship, earning AVCA Top Flight honors and first-team All-America recognition. Perez, a sophomore psychology major, was the MPSF Player of the Year and a finalist for the AVCA National Player of the Year award. Jenkins and Webster-Longin, sophomore gymnasts, helped lead the Bruins to a fifth-place national finish and a second consecutive Big Ten championship. Frassrand, a senior, was one of two Bruins included on the All-Big Ten First Team for the 2025-26 season. The Bruins' academic excellence is a testament to the team's commitment to both academics and athletics. The recognition is a significant achievement for the student-athletes and the UCLA Bruins program.
